Oxford University Innovation
The Oxford University Innovation (OUI) is dedicated to supporting the Oxford community and enabling Oxford University's technology and scientists to have a greater global impact. OUI is based on Oxford University and builds a world-leading innovation ecosystem around research education, incubating companies, talent and skills, business support, investors, and infrastructure. OUI is mainly responsible for turning university research results into practical applications.
Its main functions include:
Intellectual Property Management: Facilitating researchers protect and manage their inventions and patents
Technology Transfer: Promoting the commercialization of research results through patent licensing and co-development
Supporting Spin-out Companies: Assisting Oxford University scholars in starting innovation-based companies (called "spin-out companies")
Investment and Incubation: Providing funding support and incubation services to facilitate the development of start-up companies

Graduated from the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University with a bachelor's and master's degree, with over a decade of experience in international technology transfer and management of innovation platforms, responsible for the management, construction, and development of the Oxford University Innovation (Suzhou) Center. An expert in the Jiangsu International Science and Technology Innovation Expert Pool; a guiding expert for the practice base of the National Technology Transfer Talent Training Base in Southern China; a special-appointed mentor for senior technical managers; one of the first mentors of the Suzhou Alliance for Coordination of Industry-University-Research and Technology Transfer; and a special advisor to the Jiangsu Technology Transfer Alliance.

Graduated from Oxford University with a master's degree and a PhD from the University of Warwick. With over 16 years of senior management experience at multinational companies, experienced in cross-cultural teamwork and management. A mentor for the Prince's Trust and a senior advisor to the Oxford University Entrepreneurs' Association; a member of the advisory boards of the Oxford Association (founded in 1897) and the University of London. Focused on academic research and entrepreneurship, his work in higher education includes course development and management, teaching of courses such as marketing and entrepreneurship, and providing guidance to students from around the world.
