Biotechnology Research Centre
The Centre focuses on the research of biotechnologies and single cell biology.
Specific research interests include molecular diagnostics, development of biotechnologies for controlling antibiotic-resistant bacteria, single cell Raman technology, and the biological treatment of industrial wastewaters, microbiological generation of high value products from organic wastes and generation of bioenergy and bioplastics from waste plant biomass.
